Al Poggiolo
Overview - The apartment is a large loft under a high wooden beam roof, once a granary. It is at ground level (three steps only), but due to the position of the house on a very steep hill, the rear windows over the town are on the second floor.
Sleeping accommodations - With one double bed and a bathroom with shower, apartment "Granary" can comfortably accomodate 2 people. A baby cot is available on request.
Amenities - The kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern amenities including dishwasher and oven. The heating is independent. There is an hairdryer in the bathroom. There is also a washing machine (but no dryer), satellite television and retractable mosquito nets at the windows. The apartment has a fan but no air conditioning: Montepulciano is at 605 meters (2000 feet) above sea level, the weather is cooler than in the countryside and the house, thanks to its old thick walls, remains cool during the hot summer weather. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment.
Rate - Weekly rate, from Saturday to Saturday, is 575€ all year round, all included: taxes, water, electricity, heating, parking space for 1 car in our gated garden, wi-fi internet, linen supply (bed, bath and kitchen), cleaning and linen change for stays longer than one week, final cleaning and even the wood for the fireplace. We offer a 10% discount for stays of at least 3 weeks. Please note that "Granary" is a self-catering holiday apartment, we supply linen but guests should provide to what else they need during their stay.
